Our training staff is Massachusetts certified LEOSA Instructors as well as certified NRA Instructors and Range Safety Officers (RSO)
All Mass LEOSA training sessions are being conducted at an NRA approved outdoor range Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
Massachusetts Law requires Retired Law Enforcement Officers who wish to carry a concealed handgun under the provisions of U.S. 18 USC 926C (LEOSA) and MA 501 CMR 6.00 to meet certain requirements, annual firearms qualification.
Retiree must provide:
1. Valid Massachusetts LTC
(License to carry)
2. Valid Retired LEO ID card issued
from the Department or Agency retired
from, pursuant to MA 501 CMR 6.00,
which also states on the backside
you meet the U.S. Title 18 926C
3. The handgun you wish
to carry concealed
4. A holster for the handgun,
eye and ear protection
5. At minimum 50 rounds of ammunition
for your specific firearm. (100 rounds
in case a re-shoot of course is needed)
Upon successful completion of range qualification, retiree will be issued a Massachusetts LEOSA certificate and qualification card.
LEOSA training is scheduled during the Spring and Fall months.
